Katie in Love

Katie in Love - Chloe Thurlow I was provided with a copy for review by the author and I must admit, the first chapter didn't grab me. It seemed too deep for me tastes, but then I prefer light-hearted comedies. I persevered and I was so pleased that I did. The book is exceptionally well written and the storyline is unique and attention-grabbing. The character development is first rate and as you go through each chapter, you find yourself warming to Katie, even - dare I say it - finding you have things in common with this strange but complex character. Katie leads a shallow existence and, at first, you may find her rather distasteful. As the book progresses, however, you can sympathise with how she came to where she is. Then along comes Tom, a doctor who looks after orphans. Finally, she meets a man who challenges everything she's ever learned about relationships, everything that has made her what she is. I won't spoil it for you, but this is a must read. Not just a romance. Not just erotica. This is erotica for the thinking, feeling woman.
